Boy Interrupted

I have not enjoyed the best start to 2011. After being down with a cold/flu bug for the better part of two weeks, I now have no connection to the Internet from my flat. My old agreement with Comcast has expired, and the new monthly rate of $66 is twice what I was paying. To be fair, they did offer to switch me to a slower service (I thought the only thing slower was dial-up) for $45/month plus a rental fee for the modem – which had previously been included in the monthly price. That was an offer I could (and did) refuse. So, until the new, wireless modem from Clear, my new service provider, arrives, I will not have much of a presence on the ‘net. I apologize to both of my readers for any inconvenience this may cause you.
